Did you know that there are over 39 faith communities that send kids to Spirit in the Pines? In Summer 2024 we are carving out the capacity for larger groups of youth to register together during certain summer weeks. We offer discounts, one free leader per six youth, etc. We are beginning to partner with many organizations in new and exciting ways, and we would love for you to be part of this!

If you would like to inquire about bringing a group of youth together to Spirit in the Pines, please fill out our inquiry form below.

Since 2001, our focus on building Christian community centered on unconditional love has been overflowing into the classrooms, sports teams, and families that our campers return to. We would love to partner with you!

Our aim at Spirit in the Pines is to help campers deepen their ability to live out their faith in daily life. We offer a wide range of activities including swimming, canoeing, pontooning, gaga ball, carpetball, crafts, a low ropes challenge course, and more!

We have a variety of cabin sizes ranging from 10 to 18 total beds, with bathrooms and leader sleeping spaces. We also have separate lodging for adults, with guest bedrooms in our nurse’s cabin and our director’s cabin.

We are interdenominational. We focus on what we all have in common, and we verbally support everyone’s home churches and their unique missions.

We are multi-age with campers Ent. Gr. 3-10 and counselling opportunities every week for students Ent. Gr. 11-12.

Spirit in the Pines is 2.5 hours north of the West Metro on Pleasant Lake in Hackensack, MN. Our campers come from Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, Chaska, Minnetonka, Edina, Richfield, Bloomington, and Minneapolis.

Youth groups who love our summer camp often also return in the spring or fall to host a confirmation or general youth retreat. Head on over to our Group Bookings page to explore our off-season options from late August through May.
