Our Biggest Week Ever!
Week 6 Blog – July 19-26, 2026

This week was easily our biggest week of the summer, and also in the history of camp! It definitely felt like it, too. Everywhere you looked there was something going on, and somehow we managed to pack it all into one week.
We had a couple of all-camp swims this week, which are always a camper favorite. The inflatable slide was once again the place to be, and it’s safe to say it’s gotten more use this summer than we ever imagined. The waterfront stayed busy all week.
The stunts this week were another highlight. There were plenty of moments that probably looked a little ridiculous from the outside, but that’s part of what makes camp so much fun.
Our Olympic teams continued battling it out all week, and after some great competition, the teams named “Mediterranean” and “Bering Seas” came out on top.
One of the funniest moments came when we asked a camper to explain what the Olympics were. They answered with complete confidence, but by the end of it, I’m not sure anyone knew any more about the Olympics than when they started. It definitely gave everyone a good laugh.
Also, for the 6th or 7th time this summer… we ran out of Oreo Drumsticks. At this point, snagging one at canteen might be the most competitive event at camp. If you want one, you’d better move fast.
As always, it was another unforgettable week filled with great memories, lots of laughs, and plenty of moments we’ll be talking about long after the summer ends. It’s hard to believe we’re already heading into the final couple of weeks!
