Lots of surprises!

Week 4 Blog – July 5-10, 2026

Week 4 at camp was another special one, and it brought a lot of surprises our way!

The biggest surprise of the week came one night when our giant inflatable slide (pictured above!) decided it had enough of staying put and took a trip of its own, drifting right into the swim area! Thankfully, this happened while no one was in the water, and it was a result of the wind. No one would be swimming when it was that windy anyway! We were able to move the slide back out to its rightful place the next day so that campers could enjoy it during their regular swim time.

When the slide wasn’t trying to relocate itself, it was doing exactly what it was supposed to do. Campers spent hours climbing, sliding, splashing, and having an absolute blast. It continued to be one of the most popular activities around camp, and there was never a shortage of smiles at the bottom of the slide.

Mother Nature also made sure to keep us on our toes this week by sending us yet another windy storm. We had to change plans and play some indoor games, but the staff are always able to make things super fun! Thankfully, the storm passed, and the fun picked right back up.

One of the funniest nights of the week was our weekly talent show. From hilarious skits to creative performances that had everyone laughing, campers and staff showed off their talents. The audience was laughing from beginning to end, making it a night to remember.

Week 4 gave us flying inflatables, windy adventures, nonstop laughter, and memories we’ll never forget. If this week taught us anything, it’s that no matter what surprises come our way, camp always finds a way to turn them into great stories.
