Family Camp Weekends

Come spend a weekend of quality family time in your own cabin at the lake! All ten cabins have a living area, 2-3 bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms, a microwave, toaster, coffee, mini-fridge, and upgraded mattresses! Use the links below to read more about each specific cabin.

You set your own activity schedule picking from swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, pontooning, campfire singing, arts and crafts, closing worship and more! Our college camp staff will lead activities for the kids for two hours on Saturdays so that parents can gather and relax.

You can use this initial Family Camp Matcher form to express interest and receive a suggested weekend with families and children of similar ages and interests.

BASIC SCHEDULE
All activities at Family Camp are optional. Feel free to join in for the things that interest you as you like all weekend long.

Friday: Families can start arriving at 4:00 on Friday. We suggest that you either eat on the way up to camp, or plan to eat locally in town. There will not be dinner in the dining hall on arrival night. We will have a welcome campfire with our Camp Staff and s’mores at 7:30 P.M. by the lake.

Saturday: Meals are at 8:30, 12:30, and 5:30. The staff will have a few optional activities open in the morning between breakfast and lunch, and then they will have a few more things open between lunch and dinner. Two of our favorites are carpet ball and the challenge course along the walking trail in the woods. There will also be two hours of activities for the kids led by the college staff, so adults can gather or have personal time. You can request specific games or activities from the staff at meals. The canteen will be open from 2:00-4:00 for snacks and gear. We will close with an optional campfire with songs.

Sunday: We close the weekend with a family service in the chapel at 9:00 A.M. This is followed by brunch at 10:00 A.M. Families should plan to head out by 12:00 P.M.

Activities the staff can offer: Pontoon ride, field games, arts and crafts, yoga, zumba, the challenge course, canoeing, etc.

Activities you can do at anytime: Swimming, fishing, pontoon boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, gaga ball, carpetball, basketball, tetherball, volleyball, the Jenkins trail, board games, etc.
